The Giants of the Primeval Age

Before the dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago they ruled the earth. The exhibition "Giant of the Primeval Age" declines almost 250 million years and shows the development of the dinosaurs from the Carboniferous up to the Cretaceous period. The smallest models are approx. one metre long, the greatest ones reach a body length of almost 27 metres.

The Heirs of the Dinosaurs

After the extinction of the dinosaurs 65 million years ago, gigantic forms of mammals were developed, like the Elasmotherium with a horn on the head which was bigger than a man. These mammals are also extinct and are considered the progenitors of today's mammals. The BBC TV-series of BBC in which these mammals were introduced was a gigantic success.

The Giants of the Ice-Age
13.000 years ago primeval and giant deer, as well as short-nosed bears, lived in the rough landscape of the ending ice-age. Aside the different species of sloths that existed at this time, there was also a giant sloth - a giant the size of an elephant. A new hunter entered the continent for the first time at that time: man. Come on a time travel in which the giants of the ice-age from the mammoth up to the sabre-toothed tiger mastered the earth.

The Giants of the Oceans

Millions of years ago, there were not only inconceivable giants ashore but the oceans were also dominated by monstrous tyrants. Let yourself be impressed by creatures like a giant crocodile which could reach a length up to 15 meter long, a giant turtle which could get as big as a VW-beetle,  a giant shark where up to 5 adults could stand up in its open mouth ...
